My second victim of my project Music in Practice is Silvie Chopard. I asked her spontaneously after we had a brunch with friends on the train ride back home.
She invited me to Affoltern am Albis where she practices in the rooms of a church. She’s living the village next to Affoltern.
So at the beginning of February 2016 I went one morning with the train to Affoltern. It was a fogy morning and it was a cozy and idyllic ride there. She picked me up at the train station and 10 minutes later she was practicing on her violin.
She was great since it obviously didn’t distract her at all that I was walking around her and taking pictures. At least she didn’t mention it and I, honestly, didn’t ask.
After my exams are now through I had time to select the images and do some editing to them. In fact it is not much at all and no beauty retouching as well. But see for yourself.
A big thanks to Sylvie Chopard. It was a pleasure having you hear and portrait you.
