The Christmas time is always good to look over some RAW files that I’ve shoot and haven’t had the time to decide the right ones as well as work on them. The shooting with Claudia was such a shooting. Therefore I took now the opportunity to look through the RAWs from Claudia again. And with my new screen I hope the colors will be more viewable now than it was with the first post production.
The shooting idea was to create that so called “Porty-Look”. It’s photographing directly into the sun and lighten up the model with a flash to match the power of the sun. Since I have only the small version of doing that (Youngnuos and Canan flashs) and no Ranger Quadra from Elinchrom for example, we waited until the sunset. And to have an open aparture I used ND filters.
